I realized how cruel life can be. The society is just so bloody competitive.

Just got a scolding from my Dad. I didn't cry in school today, cos I know there's no point crying and I tried to be kind of sadistic. But now, my eyes are like fking small, seriously.

I got a fking overall B grade for LA, and he said I didn't work hard enough. I tried, but I really don't know how to ace in this subject. After all, this is Dunman High, there are so many people who are more intellectually inclined. You said I'm not in the best class, and by right I should top the class. Come on, who are you kidding. Of course, I really tried hard so as to get a decent grade for you, but you said that's way below your expectation.

You kept emphasizing on the cruelty of this society. I understood and know it's relevant to me now. I worked hard, but you thought I had been wasting time all along. To you, A is a lousy grade, you're never satisfied unless an A* appears, or perhaps even something more than that.

This is secondary school life, it's so much more complicated than times in primary school. I know grades are important, but I still have have to deal with people, CCA etc etc. It's not as easy you think it may be. I know you want me to be better by having high expectations, but this is really too much. 6 fking A*s, are you crazy?

Urghhh. I guess I just have to improve bit by bit. I'm not an alien or something, you can't expect me to change overnight.
